Join us in person or via Zoom as we learn from Lamont about his process and work that goes into the making of a film. He will be available to answer questions and give feedback to help other filmmakers bring their projects to fruition.
Lamont Ferguson will discuss the process of taking the book Finding Chris, My Father was written by Vincent Ellis White and making it into a stage play as well as a screenplay that is now being made into a film. He has starred and filmed in many other films. Lamont is also a judge of the Hampton Roads Screenwriting Competition.

Lamont "Ferg" Ferguson is a Detroit native that resides in the Virginia area. Ferg Ferguson is an award-winning comedian/actor/writer that has traveled the road of entertainment for many years. He has performed for dignitaries such as councilmen and women as well as for our troops. He has worked with Katt Williams and opened for national acts such as Charlie Murphy, Tony Woods, Jordan Rock, & Chaunte Wayans. He has participated in comedy festivals along the east coast including the World Series of Comedy.
Other acting credits includes: The Good Lord Bird, Thanksgiving with The Carters, The Carters Family Reunion, Mother of A Day, Employee if the Year and other independent projects. He can also be seen in Stage plays.
